The New Balance Rebel v4 is the latest update in a line of lightweight, non-plated speed shoes. Version 3 was one of my favorite speed workout shoes of 2023, featuring a soft and bouncy supercritical TPU/EVA blend and flexible platform. Version 4 pushes the shoe in a new direction with an updated FuelCell foam containing PEBA and a higher stack.
