Apologies if this is in the wrong forum here.

OK, so I just bought some shoes off eBay for the 1st time.

I found some Adidas Prime X Strung 2 on there for $100 + shipping.

Obviously that’s a great deal . . . but it makes me a little nervous.
Especially after living in SE Asia for the past 6 years and seeing the vast amount of fakes there, which look basically real besides the rock hard foam. They had fake Vaporfly 3’s out just a few months after the release date last spring that looked the same, it’s amazing.

Anyway . . . the app says the shoes have been sent for authentication & of course the seller has a 99% rating & guarantees this & that.

Has anyone dealt with this process & can the authentication from eBay be trusted?
