So in my quest for deals on running shoes, I was finally burned on eBay when I saw a much too good to be true posting on the much coveted Metaspeed Sky Paris from a seller in Japan. I figured, Japan is the home of Asics, these could totally be legit!

Spoiler alert, they were not. I did manage to get a full refund, but now I'm left with shoes I don't know what to do with.

They are pretty good knockoffs and look kinda cool. They are not, however, of any use for racing since the midsole has all the cushion and responsiveness of a cinderblock. Okay, maybe slightly more cushioned than a cinderblock. But anyway I figured maybe someone on here would like them as walking around shoes or just scavenge the sawtooth laces off of them, instead of me just tossing them in the trash. You just have to cover shipping!
