Yowana just reviewed this shoe and called it a baby superblast. As I’ve mentioned on this app before, I was a BIG fan of the Novablast 3 which is why I had to try this shoe as it has the same midsole foam and has been called a NB3 replica. Turns out ASICS increased the stack height ~3mm and the weight by ~1 ounce (due to bigger stack and more cushioning in the upper). Thus, this shoe increased in comfort but decreased in nimbleness and agility relative to the NB3. As such, it’s not the do it all shoe for me that I was hoping for and I’m using NB5 for comfy daily miles so do not have a need for this one. I just did one 5 mile run and one walk to my neighborhood grocery store in them.
