How much has everyone spent on running shoes in 2024 & so far in 2025? I just wanted to compare my shoe addiction to you other sickos. Thanks!

Here’s what I have (prices include discounts, used, etc) . . .

2024 - Total = $940

Adidas Boston 12 - $140 - gave them to my brother-in-law after 100 miles. Too stiff & firm **mistake purchase**

Adidas SL2 (pair 1) - $100 got 440 miles out of them then retired

Nike Invincible Run 3 - $105 - got them to 100 miles but the midsole kept coming unglued from the upper. I was in Istanbul, Turkey at the time & didn’t go through the trouble to hunt down super glue. Left them in the AirBnB with about 70% of the foam attached to the midsole. I liked them a lot though & would get again on discount/used

Adidas SL2 (pair 2) - $100 - have 90 miles on them now & going for another 400+ miles

New Balance More V5 - $150 - got them up to 175 miles but the foam really died out & considering the weight/bulk of the shoe, it just wasn’t enjoyable at all to run in them anymore unfortunately. Now use as casual shoe **mistake purchase**

Adidas Prime X2 - $125 (used on eBay) - have them up to 340 miles now, still going strong, trying to get 600-700+ miles. That Lightstrike Pro is some great foam for durability + bounce

Nike Invincible Run 2 - $50 (used on eBay) - have 320 mile on these now, going for 400+ miles

Nike Invincible Run 1 - $50 (used on eBay) - haven’t used yet

Asics Novablast 5 - $120 - have 330 miles on these, going for 500+ miles

2025 - Total = $250

Adidas Evo SL - $140 - did one 10 mile run in them. Going to use casually/sporadically until some of the other ones above get retired soon. Seemed very good to me, possibly good enough to buy another pair later on discount

Qiaodan Feying Plaid 1.5 (the Chinese Alphafly, he he) - $110 (6,000 Philippine Pesos with voucher/flash sale on Lazada (the Asian Amazon) website - should arrive in the next few days where I am located now in the Philippines. I will post a review on them soon.
