Li-Ning Feidian 6 Elite

The Li-Ning Feidian 6 Elite is one of the most hyped new marathon shoes of 2026. With the Super Boom Capsule midsole tech, the 6 Elite is designed to compete with shoes like the Nike Alphafly and Saucony Endorphin Elite 2. The Feidian 6 Elite is a dual foam racer with a scooping full-length carbon fiber plate and the same SUPER BOOM capsule used in the Red Hare 9 Ultra. It weighed in at 219 grams in our Men’s size 10.5, which is on the higher end of the fastest race shoes on the market, but it doesn’t have any weird medial or lateral cut-outs or a de-coupled midsole. Upon step-in we found the fit to be a bit sloppy and difficult to get a good lock-down with the laces, but this was really the only negative part about the shoe. Out on the run we found it to be pleasantly familiar, extremely bouncy, fun, and comfortable with a very smooth and floaty ride. While the foam is on the softer side of Goldilocks, we didn’t find it to be too soft and if the upper were more snug it probably wouldn’t read as unstable. It felt remarkably good at all paces (warm-up, race pace, and more recovery, cool-down paces) and we believe it will be a very versatile and accessible race shoe with excellent long-run capabilities. If you are looking for a really fun, extremely bouncy, highly cushioned and protective race day shoe, the Feidian 6 Elite is a great one to try.
