The Saucony Hurricane 25 is a max-cushioned shoe built for support and comfort. Priced at $170, it competes with shoes like the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 27 ($165) and Hoka Bondi 9 ($170). Saucony nailed the execution with this update—keeping the spirit of the Hurricane 24 and making small improvements. They made smart, meaningful changes that just made it an even better shoe—starting with the fit. The toe box is slightly wider and the step-in feel is very comfortable. You get a perfect balance of bounce and stability thanks to the PWRRUN PB foam on top (Saucony’s bouncy PEBA race foam) and a base layer of PWRRUN EVA underneath for just enough stability. It doesn’t scream “stability shoe,” but it offers just enough support for those who need it. The rocker geometry is excellent—smooth, efficient, and truly effortless. It’s one of those shoes that makes you feel like you’re running 10–15 seconds per mile faster without trying any harder. The reduced weight helps too, and it feels more nimble and responsive than you'd expect from a max cushion shoe. Bigger or more powerful runners will love it for long runs or even faster efforts. But it also works perfectly for recovery days when you just want comfort, cushion, and an easy ride. It’s a daily trainer you’ll reach for again and again—comfortable, stable, and still fun to run in. A real standout in the max-cushion category.
