The step-in feel is softer and more comfortable than the Terrex Agravic Speed, but in initial testing, the speed and bounce typically expected from carbon rods and Lightstrike Pro foam weren’t immediately noticeable. It’s possible the Lightstrike Pro foam requires more break-in time to fully deliver that responsive feel. The Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra would perform best on smooth fire roads rather than technical terrain, as it lacks the stability and more aggressive lugs you might find on other trail racing shoes.
