The Chinese running shoes are taking the Hobby Jogger, running shoe enthusiast community by storm. Below we are taking a look at the Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra and telling you why it might be the most fun running shoe of all time.

The Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra has the potential to be the most fun running shoe of all time. With a 46mm stack, a wild 3-layer midsole, and the Super Boom Capsule sitting right in the middle, this thing is built for pure bounce. A soft race foam top layer brings the comfort, the pressure-wrapped capsule delivers that explosive pop, and a firmer beaded PEBA base keeps the ride from going completely off the rails. Add in high-coverage waffle rubber and a dialed upper and you’ve got a max-stack cruiser that feels more like a trampoline than a trainer.

The Red Hare 9 Ultra has 46mm of stack in the heel and comes in at 260 grams in our Men's size 10.5, while the Nike Vomero Premium delivers 55mm of foam in the heel with a weight of 360 grams in our Men's size 10.5. That's a 100 gram difference in weight for an extra 10mm of foam.
The Red Hare 9 Ultra features a triple density midsole with the firmest foam as the bottom layer. The Vomero Premium utilizes 100% ZoomX PEBA foam.
The Red Hare 9 Ultra uses a middle layer Super Boom Capsule that provides wild energy return, while the Vomero Premium uses dual Air Zoom units for added bounce and stability.
Both shoes have a full coverage waffle outsole.
The Red Hare 9 Ultra has a comfortable, dialed fit and the Vomero Premium has a wider, accommodating fit.
