Below we are breaking down the specs, midsole, outsole, comfort, design, and ride of the Saucony Triumph 24 to help you decide whether you should add this classic daily trainer to your running shoe rotation.

The Triumph 24 feels like Saucony finally got the series back on track. With the move to incrediLUX, an Aliphatic TPU, the ride feels noticeably more lively than the brick-like PWRRUN PB setup from the last two versions while still staying stable and highly versatile. Goldilocks cushioning, elite comfort, and an upper that Saucony rarely misses on make this one of the strongest daily trainers in the category right now. On the flip side, the outsole rubber runs a bit crunchier than expected and the design plays it pretty safe, but for pure daily mileage this shoe absolutely deliver.

The Triumph 24 features Saucony's new incrediLUX Aliphatic TPU foam, a significantly bouncier and more fun compound than the brick-like PWRRUN PB used in the Triumph 22 and Triumph 23. The ride is goldilocks (not too soft, not too firm, and highly versatile. We’re happy to say that the Triumph is back.
Saucony consistently makes amazing comfort-oriented uppers, and this one is no exception,
It has excellent outsole coverage, but the rubber is crunchier than other shoes, which makes the ride ever so slightly firmer.
The goldilocks foam plus an excellent upper is a winning step-in comfort combination.
The Triumph 24 utilizes a very standard Saucony design language. We’d like to see Saucony take bigger swings with the designs of their standard shoes.

Both the Triumph 24 and Paramount Max feature 43mm of foam in the heel, but the Triumph 24 has a 10mm drop while the Paramount Max has a lower, 6mm drop. The Paramount Max comes in heavier at 269 grams in a Men's sample size 9 compared to 250 grams in the Triumph 24.
The Triumph 24 features Saucony's new bouncy, versatile aliphatic TPU that delivers a fun, smooth ride while the Paramount Max has a softer, less bouncy IncrediRun TPEE midsole. This is slightly confusing since we expected the same soft, fun, bouncy feeling from the IncrediRun foam that is also in the Endorphin Elite 3.
The Triumph 24 has a smooth geometry with a noticeably higher toe-spring than the Paramount Max. The Paramount Max has a lower drop feel and a flat, traditional platform that lacks a noticeable rocker.

The MSRP of the Triumph 24 is $170 and as such is positioned in the elevated daily trainer market segment. The Paramount Max is $200 and is positioned as a max cushion super trainer.
The Triumph 24 has a pleasant, “normal feeling” upper that disappears on-foot. The Paramount Max has a massive, boat-like upper that’s wider than most shoes we’ve tested.
