1. On Lightspray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper
This is On's best implementation of Cloudtec yet. Packing top-tier cushion, bounce and stability in a 200 gram daily trainer seems unrealistic on paper, but On’s innovative Lightspray upper tech makes such a shoe possible. If you’re seeking a cushioned, pleasant elevated daily trainer that disappears on foot, there’s no better option on the market.

2. Adidas Hyperboost Edge
The Hyperboost Edge is Adidas' first versatile max cushion shoe. The Hyperboost Edge’s visual design might be polarizing, but we love the midsole Adidas cooked up: a slab of soft, bouncy expanded PEBA, sculpted into an approachable geometry designed to work well for a variety of paces and foot strikes.

3. Li-Ning Feidian 6 Ultra
The Feidian 6 Ultra is Li-Ning's pinnacle race shoe. With a massive Super Boom capsule sandwiched in a stack of top caliber PEBA, and with next level attention-to-detail in the design department, the Feidian 6 Ultra should dispel the narrative that Chinese brands aren’t innovative.

4. ASICS Superblast 3
The Superblast 3 is the Superblast we've been waiting for. We weren't big fans of the OG Superblast or the Superblast 2, but this one is exactly what we thought the Superblast could and should be. The Superblast 3’s standout feature is its seamless integration of one of the softest, most compressive race foam on the market (FF Leap) into a robust & stable platform. The Super Brick joke is officially retired.

5. Salomon Aero Glide 4
The Salomon Aero Glide 4 is a reliable workhorse for daily mileage. We affectionately named the Aero Glide 3 the Aero Goat due to its no-nonsense, daily trainer capabilities. The Aero Glide 4 is an upper update to the beloved Aero Glide 3, a shoe we dubbed the Aero GOAT for its bouncy, durable and versatile midsole. While not as hyped-up as the other shoes on this list, the Aero Glide 4 is still amongst the best true daily trainers on the market right now.
