Kiprun Rolls Out 3 New Performance Running Shoes in the US Market
Kiprun just dropped three new performance running shoes in the US Market that will be available at Running Warehouse. Find out below whether the max cushion Kipride Max, uptempo Kipstorm Tempo or the racer day Kipstorm Elite are worth adding to your running shoe rotation.
We’re getting a max cushion daily option with the Kipride Max, a stable and responsive speed trainer with the Kipstorm Tempo, and a carbon-plated racer built for comfort and propulsion with the Kipstorm Elite. These drops give the US market a fresh mix of protection, versatility, and race-day pop across the lineup. Each one targets a different lane, but all three bring serious value to the table.
Kipride Max: Max Cushion Gang
A relatively lightweight, highly-protective, soft max cushion daily trainer, the Kipride Max is probably our favorite in the Kiprun line-up so far. Coming in at 42 grams of foam in the heel, the PEBA/EVA blend foam and smooth geometry make this a really pleasant shoe for stacking daily miles. It has the potential to be a good replacement for runners who were unhappy with the second iterations of the Puma MagMax and the Brooks Glycerin Max.

Kipstorm Tempo: Workout or Speed Session Shoe
A non-plated, dual foam speed trainer with a stable, responsive ride, the Kipstorm Tempo will be great for people running track workouts or for those who like a more normal feeling, lower stack uptempo shoe for their daily miles. It will likely compete with shoes like the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5.

Kipstorm Elite: Race Day
A carbon-plated racer designed to blend comfort and propulsion, the Kipstorm Elite features a bottom layer of ATPU foam with a full length carbon fiber plate and a top layer of PEBA foam. We think it would be a good racing companion to the Brooks Hyperion Max 3 due to its similar highly cushioned feel, geometry, and upper. Coming in at 39mm of foam in the heel and a respectable 7.6 ounces in the sample size, it has the potential to be a great addition to the current race day options.
