With all the new running shoe releases coming this summer in 2026, we wanted to give you our top 5 favorite and most anticipated drops. Find out below why we are excited about the ASICS Novablast 6, Topo Specter 3, Saucony Hurricane 26, Puma Deviate Pure Nitro, and the Saucony Triumph 24.

From max cushion cruisers to lightweight trainers, this summer is shaping up to be one of the strongest release windows we’ve seen in a while. The Saucony Triumph 24 and Hurricane 26 look ready to shake up the comfort category, while the Novablast 6 continues to build on one of running’s most popular franchises. Add in the highly anticipated Puma Deviate Pure and Topo Specter 3, and there’s no shortage of releases this summer.

The Triumph 24 is a triumphant return to form. It balances the reliable, versatile spirit of a traditional elevated daily trainer with modern ATPU bounce. After two straight misses in the Triumph 22 and Triumph 23, we’re happy to report that the Triumph is officially back.

With the Novablast 6, ASICS is bring their fun new ATPU foam, FF Turbo2, to the masses. If you are unwilling to pay the $225 for the full slab of FF Turbo2 that is found in the Megablast, this is your chance to try it in a $155 shoe. The Novablast 6 features a large piece of FF Turbo2 race foam in the forefoot, making for a peppy, fun toe off experience when landing at the front of the platform. ASICS has done excellent work updating their most popular trainer.

Only time will tell if the Puma Deviate Pure Nitro can replace the top spot that the Adidas Evo SL has dominated. While not as mindblowing as the hype train would lead you to believe, the Deviate Pure is one of the best simple running shoes on the market, delivering a versatile, smooth ride in a lightweight, well-designed package.

The Saucony Hurricane 26 is no longer just a max stack stability shoe. The Hurricane 26 might be the best pure recovery shoe out there, offering a soft, beautifully-tuned top layer of foam and a firmer EVA carrier. This is the perfect shoe for stacking chill mileage this summer.

With the Specter 3, Topo is embracing modern foams. The Specter 3 is a true Zone 3 champ, featuring an aggressive rocker and a bouncy, responsive ATPU midsole foam. This is definitely a Topo to be excited about.
