This is a real-time look at what hobby joggers in the Supwell community are actually putting miles on right now, from the ASICS Superblast 3 leading the way to the Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra rounding out the top 10. See below for the top 10 most used running shoes in April 2026.

The Supwell app now tracks the mileage on the shoes our members are using, so we can see what hobby joggers are trusting for long runs, workouts, and daily miles. If you’re a mileage enthusiast and want to track your own shoe rotation, access the best buy/sell/trade for slightly used shoes, and join the hobby jogger community download the Supwell app.

Atop the Supwell App mileage leaderboard is the Superblast 3, a soft, bouncy, and highly-stable super trainer that’s the definition of a crowdpleaser. We applaud ASICS for listening to feedback and delivering a stellar update to what has historically been a polarizing model.

Despite the constant acceleration of the running shoe hype cycle, the Megablast remains an immensely popular super trainer among hobby joggers for its unique combination of race day speed and protection.

The Vomero Plus is one of our favorite max cushion daily trainers, and its clear many runners feel the same way. The volume of miles logged in the Vomero Plus this month reflects its incredible versatility across a wide spectrum of paces and footstrikes.

The Evo SL is no longer the hype king, but that doesn’t mean it has fallen out of enthusiasts’ rotations. Delivering an iconic silhouette and excellent performance, the Evo SL remains a popular choice for uptempo daily mileage. It might have had a few more miles if we had included the additional miles in the upper revisions seen in the Evo SL Woven and Evo SL EXO.

The most widely-used race shoe this month is the New Balance SC Elite v5, which blends top-tier speed assistance with just the right amount of comfort. Snappy enough for ripping pace while also being bouncy and soft, it’s no wonder this is such a popular pick.

With the influx of (justified) hype surrounding emerging innovations in Chinese running shoes, we’re not surprised to see enthusiasts picking up the best models. Most popular this month was the Xiaonian, which feels like a crossover between the Megablast and the Evo SL.

We’ve called it the SuperBrick 2 more times than we can count, but the Superblast 2’s staying-power can’t be knocked. Despite the popularity of the new Superblast 3, the 2 continues to be championed by a loyal group of hobby joggers who love its firm, stable, and protective ride.

The R.A.D UFO is the coolest super trainer on the market, offering retro-inspired aesthetics and an equally-awesome underfoot ride. It’s place on the list is a testament to enthusiasts’ willingness to support smaller challenger brands who are brining genuinely good products to market.

Many runners seem to agree that the MagMax 2 failed to capture the original’s special character, and are choosing to go back in the archives and pull for the OG instead. At this point, the OG MagMax is a truly iconic max cushion shoe.

Hobby joggers are waking up to the value Chinese brands are bringing to the market in 2026. Among the most popular in this new wave is the Red Hare 9 Ultra which perfectly showcases Li-Ning’s innovative spirit and attention to detail. Featuring a wildly-bouncy Super Boom capsule, this shoe delivers energy return unlike anything we’ve ever tested.
